Rosehip PLUS: The Organic Skincare Brand you need to know about

Rosehip Plus Skincare Range and Review

I love discovering new brands, and up until recently, Rosehip PLUS was one I hadn't heard of. They are a brand from Australia (and a best seller one at that), who have produced a small line of skin care products that contain naturally sourced rosehip as well as other amazing ingredients. They are also Australian Certified Organic, PETA approved (cruelty-free) and vegan friendly. I was really excited when they contacted me to see if I would like to try their entire range.

For me personally, I love products that contain natural ingredients just as much as those that contain chemical. I see the benefits in both and have often found the combination of the two have worked quite well on my skin. However, I'm really pleased to have discovered this range I'm sharing with you today, as for the past few weeks it has been leaving my skin very happy and ready for Winter.  All of these products can be ordered online from, and

For centuries rosehips were known as one of nature’s richest sources of Vitamin C, packed full of other vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants offering great benefits for general health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, it's not an ingredient that's naturally found in Australia, so they had to source from elsewhere, which eventually led them to the interior of the Andes Mountains in Chile, South America, where they were being wild harvested across the mountain tops.

Organic Daily Cream Cleanser 150ml - £18.50*

Organic Daily Cream Cleanser is a cream based cleanser that is blended with pure Rosehip Oil, as well as Jojoba and Sea Buckthorn essential oils, to help maintain the skin's perfect moisture balance and radiance.

I really enjoy anything that gives that botanical, natural scent, and apart from the cold pressed formulation of the Rosehip oil, all three of these shared that kind of scent, which is very noticeable for the first few seconds before it dissipates.

This cream cleanser gently cleansed and removed my make-up with no trouble at all, leaving my skin soft and smooth and without it feeling tight. I really like this cleanser and feel it was a nice discovery. I have decided to continue to use this as a second cleanser rather than for that first cleanse, as it seems a bit of a waste to use a good cleanser just to remove make-up.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Cetyl Alcohol, Chamomilla Recutita Matricaria (Chamomile) Flower Extract*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Oil*, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerine*, Decyl Glucoside, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Oil*, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Kaolin, Citrus Nobilis (Clementine) Oil*, Cimicifuga Racemosa (Black Cohosh) Root Extract, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil*, Citronellol
*Certified Organic Ingredients

Hydrating Day Cream 75ml - £23.50*

Hydrating Day Cream
is a 100% pure and natural Australian Certified Organic facial moisturiser. It has been formulated with 100% pure cold pressed Rosehip Oil as well as a blend of chamomile, avocado and rose geranium, which supports and encourages a healthier looking skin.

This day cream is perfect for anyone with oily/combination skins or for someone that's looking for a more matte finish from a moisturiser. The formula appears to be like a thick lotion rather than a cream. At first this applies just like any other moisturiser except you feel it going slightly tacky before finishing feeling like I had virtually nothing on the skin. I did have my doubts when I first discovered just how much my skin absorbed this - a little too well perhaps, and wondered if it was going to provide enough hydration to last the day. But I was pleasantly surprised how well this kept my skin hydrated throughout the day. A definite winner for me, especially for pairing with the more glow-ier foundations that I've been wearing lately, and one I'll also definitely take note for the Summer months.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita matricaria) Flower Extract*, Glycerin*, Rosehip (Rosa eglenteria) Seed Oil*, Cocoa (Theobroma cacao) Seed Butter*, Cetyl Alcohol, Avocado (Persea gratissima) Oil*, Macadamia integrifolia Seed Oil*, Ceteary Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Decyl Olivate, Squalane, Honeysuckle (Lonicera caprifolium) Flower Extract, Tocopherol, Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) Flower Extract, Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) Oil*, Xanthan Gum, Citronellol, Geraniol
*Certified Organic Ingredients

Nourishing Night Cream 50ml - £24.50*

Nourishing Night Cream
helps to maintain skin hydration and softness. It improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promotes skin elasticity and texture. The Nourishing Night Cream has been formulated with 100% pure cold pressed Rosehip Oil, and also contains a blend of cocoa seed butter, jojoba seed oil and shea butter which helps to lock in moisture and deeply nourish the skin’s surface.

This comes with a pump dispenser something I'd would've liked to have seen the day cream packaged in as appose to the tube. This also came with that lovely scent, but out of all of the products, I think this was my least favourite. I'm not saying it's a terrible product or anything because this really pairs well with the Rosehip Oil. But on its own, I felt it didn't give enough slip for me. I like my night creams to feel a little more luxurious for night time use, and this just felt a slightly richer version of the day cream.

Ingredients:  Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Olive (Olea europaea) Leaf Extract*, Glycerin*, Ceteary Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Rosehip (Rosa eglenteria) Seed Oil*, Cocoa (Theobroma cacao) Seed Butter*, Stearic Acid, Coconut (Cocos nucifera) Oil*, Macadamia integrifolia Seed Oil*, Glyceryl Stearate, Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Seed Oil*, Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) Butter*, Honeysuckle (Lonicera caprifolium) Flower Extract, Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) Oil*, Xanthan Gum, Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) Flower Extract, Citronellol, Geraniol
*Certified Organic Ingredients

Rosehip Plus Skincare Range and Review

Rosehip Oil Organic Cold Pressed 50ml - £24.50 *(also comes in 30 ml size for £14.50)

This 100% pure and natural Certified Organic rosehip oil is cold pressed from the highest quality seeds of the Rosehip berry (Rosa Canina) which are sourced the southern regions of Chile. The formulation of cold pressed means the oil is extracted from the seeds without heat, solvents or chemicals. This guarantees the oil’s purity and quality. The oil is then packaged in a dark glass bottle to protect it from sunlight. This is suitable for all skin types including sensitive.

Rosehip Oil
contains naturally occurring bioflavonoids and essential fatty acids. Bioflavonoids act as potent antioxidants, helping to reduce free radical damage in the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The essential fatty acids (Omega 3,6 and 9) in the oil help to keep the skin hydrated, moisturised and younger looking. Now if you suffer with oily skin, oils will not make your skin oilier. In actual fact, it'll help regulate them, and trick your skin into thinking that it doesn't need to produce more. I think for dry skins, this will be a great addition to add to your routine or for pairing up with perhaps a less performing moisturiser. Saves wasting a product, doesn't it?

Here are some of the claims which Rosehip Oil can also help with:

• Reduce the appearance of stretch marks
• Reduce the appearance of scars
• Maintain skin hydration
• Improve the appearance of dry skin
• Diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Promotes skin elasticity and texture
• Repair sun damaged skin
• Reduce the appearance of skin pigmentation
• Repair skin tissue as a result of burns

Now, if your familiar with cold-pressed rosehip oil, you'll know that they tend to give off this cod liver oil kind of scent, which was really strong when I used the one from The Ordinary. This one from Rosehip Plus is more subtle and doesn't linger like the other one did, which for me  resulted in a much more pleasurable experience. I really enjoyed this, and have been using this mainly in the evening, and like I mentioned with the previous product, this has been a great pairing with the Night Cream for providing that extra boost of hydration. It leaves my skin really lovely and soft, and also feel the redness in my cheeks that I get from time to time, has subsided a little.

Ingredients: 100% Certified Pure Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Oil

Rosehip Oil Skin Boost Organic Cold Pressed 15ml - £9.95*

I think the design is just genius and brilliant for the handbag or you can even put it in the fridge during the summer months if you wanted to (how fab!) I did not know this but apparently, this hygienic massaging roller ball applicator is a global first and provides a mess-free application to target specific areas, such as fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area, dry patches and scarring, and even areas such as the lips or cuticles.

Ingredients: 100% pure Certified Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Oil. Tocopherol (found naturally occurring in rosehips).
